Winter fashion essentials - What to wear when it's freezing ?

The temperatures are freaking low right now !! Rosy nose, cold cheeks and frozen hands are officially back.. No doubt that winter is just around the corner. To celebrate this jolly weather (kidding), here is my very first appropriate post. I don't know about you guys, but wintertime is probably my favorite season to dress for. I like my neck and feet to be be snugged in comfy and warm clothing pieces. It's also time for playing with layering. Who else love putting layers and layers and thinking that anyone could see that you are currently wearing ugly thermic longsleeves ? 😏

So, enough talking, I've selected you some of my winter favorites that we should all have in our closet.

What's going on in my life

Such a drama title right ? just kidding, don't mind of this huge title folks, I just wanted to have a little talk with you and just blabering about what I've been up to and what is really going on in my life for me not posting for so long (about 3 weeks ? maybe).

A healthier option for banana bread lovers

If you guys follow me for at least a year, you know that I started a food marathon, especially coffeeshop style places ! Since I've never tried out banana bread before, I decided to take time this sunday for a little bit of baking. I've never been a huge cake lover but since this fall, this is beginning to become one of my favorite hobbie (food lover speaking).

This is the first time for me trying a banana bread recipe so I made the original one with no added topping and glaze. Maybe next time... Since I'm trying to re schedule my lifestyle and basically meal prep my lunches for school to eat a little bit healthier, I've found alternatives for a yummy yet somewhat healthy banana bread. Here is the recipe I came to.

Yay ! Finally posting a new beauty & skincare related post. I'm a huge fan of fashion but recently found a new thing for beauty. Not particularly a makeup girl but since I'm not putting a lot of makeup besides I have something fancy, I find my beauty therapy on skin & hair products.

Greetings from my sofa folks ! 

It's officially fall here and comfort food are finally coming back. Today's kind of a lazy at home day. I was supposed to work all day long on my school tasks for the upcoming week but since I had a bad night because of thinking and thinking again on how will I be up in time for school papers, I wanted to take a little bit of time for myself and maybe bake for the afternoon snack. It's literally 15 min past since I've put my crumble out of the oven and all is already gone !

My latest trip to Rennes & Where I've been eating there

Hey folks ! Long time no see over here. How are you and how was back to school, wanna know everything. 😜

As you guys probably know if you follow me on insta, I went back in Rennes for a couple of days. And since I love to find and discover new places to eat for lunch coffee date or dinner, my boyfriend and I decided to take back our good old habits and get lost in the city to stumble upon new places to be.

Will come back later on my favorite spots in the city but today's post will gather my latest finds of my summer stay.

SPOT 1: Freshly made burger @ Marché des Lices a.k.a one of the most reputed market of France. Absolutely DE-LI-CIOUS for 4€. Huge pros: everything is made in live and there are so many food options gathered in one place.

SPOT 2: Beautiful plates @ Le Piccadilly Rennes. Guys, I've never ever ate in such a classy and gorgeous place !! Not even kidding; Since the moment we tried this brasserie, I swear that my only wish was to get back there and feed my stomach and soul with the amazing plates they have. My mouth is literally watering right now as I'm talking. 😍 And it's affordable then: like 16€ for starter - main dish - dessert for lunch time. We got rumsteak so we paid extra 1.50. But this was heaven so definitely worth it !

 Hey folks ! I've been wanting to change my style a little these past few weeks. Don't know if that is because I'm closer to fashion since the beginning of the year or if I'm just in a phase where I am kinda overwhelmed in wearing super bright and exentric garnement pieces.

Also, I'm switching on basic things that are easy to style and allows many many posibilities. Fun fact, I am still a huge graphic tee lover. Guess basic things are the best option for me.

Hey babes ! How you doing ? How amazing is this warm weather ? This is a look that I wore yesterday. I'm not a big fan of wearing anything sleeveless, but since it was literally 33°C outside, I had no choice but going out sleeveless. 

I love this combination of ruffly patterned tank top with this mom light washed jeans shorts. Adding a blue suede belt to dress it up a little bit and you have one of my favorite summer go-to outfit.

V-neck tee flipped to the back

Hey babes ! Today, I wanted to share with you a way to wear basic v-neck when you're not that comfortable with crazy décolletés. Actually, I'm one of those girls who feel completely naked when I'm not wearing something with a little more coverage. Who's like me lol ?

This look is all about being comfy but still a little bit dressed up with the pants. It's kind of a whole bunch of style mixed together !

I'm also trying to eat a little more healthier these past weeks. Summer is literally right in the corner and I don't want to feel bloated all day long. Let's be real, sometimes you are just in a rush OR you are out for lunch with your friends. It's not always an easy task; especially for burgers lovers like myself. 

Pas-de-calais Day 2

In a recent post, I've told you about my sea escape for the weekend, in the north of France. We've made up our mind with two awesome days of great memories. Today, I'm coming back for the second day of this adventure in Pas-de-Calais. Have you ever been there by the way ?

We headed to the cute little town of Wimereux. We arrived there near about noon. So the first thing we did was finding a nice place to eat. After exploring the downtown area and it's touristy restaurants (they are all sitting next to one another, by the beach - not really actually but more of a bay - promenade), we stumbled upon a burger place ! You know I love me some burger and fries. 😻

 Fun fact, I didn't take the food in caption because I was too starving. I only realized I would not have any picture of this goodness for you guys.. But, if you are lucky to be in Paris someday, there is the same restaurant in Le Marais ! I'm testing that very soon with my food marathon's partners ! 

This place was so cute ! Seriously, look at this entrance with the little flowers. It literally looks like lunching at home, right ? 

The place only serve one menu, which can be a little cringy but the main dish is fab ! Chicken burger or Beef burger, then chose your cheese, and voilà ! As for my choice: beef burger and cheddar, but maroilles was bomb too ! Everything is chosen to create a delicious burger.

Pas-de-calais Day 1

Hey babes ! I just got back from a little sea escape with the fam. This was the best plan (surprise actually) for my first days celebrating the end of finals ! Yay, I hope I did great.

Since you guys seem to like my travel posts, I thought it would be cool to take you with me along my stay there. We went there for the week end - by the way, happy mothers day - and I've brought you so many memos !

We had an amazing stay in Hardelot-Plage. Since we were 7 + the puppy, we went for an apartment to rent, just so that we could all fit and be more independant.

 This is the first time we rent an apartment for vacay, and since we had a great experience, it won't definitely be the last time. Seriously, look at this cute decor ! Reminds me of Greece and match perfectly my mood right now. 

 Every houses are so beautiful there.

 Hey babes ! long time now talk. I'm in my final exams week and so I didn't got the chance to be very consistent over here. But, as you probably have seen, I try to post my *kind of* daily life through my instagram.
