My latest trip to Rennes & Where I've been eating there

Hey folks! Long time no see over here. How are you and how was back to school, wanna know everything. 😜

As you guys probably know if you follow me on insta, I went back in Rennes for a couple of days. And since I love to find and discover new places to eat for lunch coffee date or dinner, my boyfriend and I decided to take back our good old habits and get lost in the city to stumble upon new places to be.

Will come back later on my favorite spots in the city but today's post will gather my latest finds of my summer stay.

SPOT 1: Freshly made burger @ Marché des Lices a.k.a one of the most reputed market of France. Absolutely DE-LI-CIOUS for 4€. Huge pros: everything is made in live and there are so many food options gathered in one place.

SPOT 2: Beautiful plates @ Le Piccadilly Rennes. Guys, I've never ever ate in such a classy and gorgeous place !! Not even kidding; Since the moment we tried this brasserie, I swear that my only wish was to get back there and feed my stomach and soul with the amazing plates they have. My mouth is literally watering right now as I'm talking. 😍 And it's affordable then: like 16€ for starter - main dish - dessert for lunch time. We got rumsteak so we paid extra 1.50. But this was heaven so definitely worth it!

Pas-de-calais Day 2

In a recent post, I've told you about my sea escape for the weekend, in the north of France. We've made up our mind with two awesome days of great memories. Today, I'm coming back for the second day of this adventure in Pas-de-Calais. Have you ever been there by the way?

We headed to the cute little town of Wimereux. We arrived there near about noon. So the first thing we did was finding a nice place to eat. After exploring the downtown area and it's touristy restaurants (they are all sitting next to one another, by the beach - not really actually but more of a bay - promenade), we stumbled upon a burger place! You know I love me some burger and fries. 😻

 Fun fact, I didn't take the food in caption because I was too starving. I only realized I would not have any picture of this goodness for you guys.. But, if you are lucky to be in Paris someday, there is the same restaurant in Le Marais! I'm testing that very soon with my food marathon's partners! 

This place was so cute! Seriously, look at this entrance with the little flowers. It literally looks like lunching at home, right? 

The place only serve one menu, which can be a little cringy but the main dish is fab. Chicken burger or Beef burger, then chose your cheese, and voilà! As for my choice: beef burger and cheddar, but maroilles was bomb too! Everything is chosen to create a delicious burger.

Pas-de-calais Day 1

Hey friends! I just got back from a little sea escape with the fam. This was the best plan (surprise actually) for my first days celebrating the end of finals!

Since you guys seem to like my travel posts, I thought it would be cool to take you with me along my stay there. We went there for the week end - by the way, happy mothers day - and I've brought you so many memos!

We had an amazing stay in Hardelot-Plage. Since we were 7 + the puppy, we went for an apartment to rent, just so that we could all fit and be more independant.

 This is the first time we rent an apartment for vacay, and since we had a great experience, it won't definitely be the last time. Seriously, look at this cute decor. It reminds me of Greece and it perfectly matches my mood right now. 

All the houses are so beautiful there.
