Santa Cruz and the East coast

Last article about my Tenerife adventures, and I chose to talk to you about my very last road trip we've done. It was on Saturday, which was the day before our actual last day there. Since we wanted to explore a little bit more, we decided to go again and drive all day through the east coast. We already did the middle of the island and also the south, missing the capital Santa Cruz de Tenerife (from its entire name).

One thing to say about this city is that it was not always the capital. Indeed before the capital was San Cristobal de la Laguna and for some what reason I don't know, it changed.

Just exploring

I just began my fashion insternship. For those who are wondering, I have been working as a shop assistant for a month now. It's pretty fun, I'm learning a ton of things and meet new people. I'll tell you how it goes later.

We are in the sales rush so I don't have a lot of time to go outside in my break to shoot my outfit for you guys, at least I don't have the time I wanted.

But here's a quick comfy look that i shot a little while back now, when I was under the palmtrees and that I walked all day everyday by the ocean. Holy crap, i'm missing those times so much now that the winter is definitely here in Paris.

I should have upload it to you sooner, right when I came back from this trip but I had to planned quite a few articles about my Tenerife adventures so I hope you don't mind.

In the middle of nowhere

When I knew I was coming to Tenerife for the christmas break, I was so happy. Like every destination we go to, it's my "thing" to look for cool stuff to visit and to do while we are there.
So as per use, i went on the youtube and of course on Instagram, because that's where you can find a lot of original spots (weither i'm looking at some cool places to eat or just great spots). You know us crazy pics lovers.

So one day, I believe it was on Wednesday, we decided to rent a car to explore one of the best known area of the island. Since it's a volcanic island, the routes were very tiny and we had to take some pretty winding routes which was kind of rude sometimes. It can be a hard time if you are used to get sick in car #truestory.

Matching background

This outfit was shot during my vacation week in Tenerife. Funny fact: I had a lot of fun shooting this outfit with my little bro.
We did a little roadtrip to the mount El Teido which is in fact the famous Tenerife volcano. We were pretty excited to see different landscapes and also to be out of our comfort zone. It was pretty much an adventure to arrive at the nearly top but was definitely worth it.
Oh and since it was very chilly there, I had to take my plaid scarf with me. And i'm diggin this look, lol.

American vibes in Las Americas

In the last blog post, I was telling you a bit about my Tenerife trip. I just come back and I have a lot to share with you. This island stole my heart and my head is full of increadible memories I'm excited to show you!!

We arrived on Monday 19th. Yet we first decided to explore our neighborhood next to the marina and golf del sur, it was pretty quickly done..
We stayed at the Aguamarina Golf Resort Hotel and had a very pleasant week. It's located near the ocean and let me tell you, we did great great walks by the bay! (side note: perfect neighborhood to discover if you are with your lover <3).

So, on Thursday, we were ready to explore more! We took the free bus from our hotel (we had to make a reservation since a lot of people wanted to take it) and we head off to the famous district of Las Americas. My first impression when we arrived was that it reminded me of Miami Beach mixed with maybe a hint of Beverly hills kind of vibe!

It was very chill, everyone was wearing comfy clothes and you couldn't tell it was christmas season here lol. This district is very poular so the place was fairly overcrowded (for me) but it was really easy to walk on the streets at the end.
If you are looking for shopping, you won't be disipointed cause this neighborhood is full of little souvenirs shops but also you can fall on big ones like Mango or Zara.
Cute little cafés and places to eat seafood and drink cocktails, near the beach of course.
