How to make perfect chocolate chip cookies

Hey friends, I've been really liking making classic american cookies lately. Winter has come and it's the perfect time to make yummy (not that healthy lol) comforting recipes.

It's been a long time since I've done one here so I figured it could be fun just talking about how I personnaly bake one of my favorite american delight.

Cookies are quite a thing for me because it's probably the thing that made me slowly fall in love with chocolate. Funny fact throw here, I've never been a chocolate kind of girl. Too sweet for a salty tooth kid.
But I guess it's true everyone changes. This is what literally happens when I tried baking cookies for the first time when I was in middle school (yeah I know, I always loved to bake and play the chef - same situation years and years later at 21): I took 2 kg in 3 days. Then I don't know why but I never find the recipe again.

So about 6 or 8-ish years later, here I am learning how to make perfect cookies for my internship ending.
And since then, I've never stop doing it (5th time making cookies in less that 2 weeks but we're living our best life right ?).

Enough blablering now, here's my secret recipe of dark chocolate cookies:

Ingredients (for about 20 cookies):

- 250 g of flour
- 100 g of brown sugar
- 100 g of melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1 pinch of sea salt
- 1 splash of milk (regular or coconut)
- 1 t.s. baking soda
- cinnamon
- dark chocolate chunks

How to make it:

Mix all the wet ingredients in a large bowl (brown sugar, egg and melted butter). Then slowly pour in the flour and blend it all. Add the pinch of salt and the baking soda and continue to mix the whole. Adjust the consistancy with adding the milk and cinnamon. When you have a nice dough, here is the BEST part: break the dark chocolate in little chunks and pour it inside.
Place the dough on a baking tray (covered with parchment paper) in small ball pieces. You can use a scooper to make it easier.
Bake it 8 min at 185°C and let it cool before serving.

There you have it friends! Make sure to leave me a sweet note if you ever try this recipe! Would love to hear your thoughs.

Happy winter dayzzz.

MUCH LOVE. xx
